This acrylic and oil painting is done on a 4”x4” wood block with magnets on the back. It depicts a red eyed tree frog from its underside. As if the frog is stuck to the viewers “lens” and we can view its colorful and shiny underbelly. To add emphasis to it’s color the background is a contrasting lack of color, being a stark black in order to aid the vibrancy of the subject.
